These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cararam (the "Site"), operated as an online archive of publicly available vehicle-auction records together with paid, optional services. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Site you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
2. The Service
The Site aggregates and republishes factual information about past vehicle auctions from third-party public sources. We also offer paid, optional services: a vehicle-history report for a given VIN, and a listing-removal request that hides a vehicle's records from the Site. Cararam is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Copart, IAAI, or any auction house, insurer, or manufacturer. The Site does not sell vehicles and does not facilitate bidding.
3. Payments & Refunds
Paid services are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown before purchase. A vehicle-history report is a digital product delivered immediately upon successful payment; because it is delivered at once, it is generally non-refundable except where required by law or where the report could not be generated. If a report cannot be produced, we will refund the corresponding charge. Listing-removal is a one-off service fulfilled after payment.
4. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer of Warranties
Information on the Site is aggregated from third-party public sources and is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Vehicle records may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors. Do not rely on the Site as the sole basis for a purchase, valuation, or other decision.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the Site by automated means; interfere with or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure; misrepresent your identity; or use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site's design, branding, text, and original compilation are owned by Cararam and protected by applicable law. Factual data about vehicles is not owned by us; you may reference individual facts for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cararam and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or reliance on its information. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cararam and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes take effect when posted.
